A Pow Wow is an intertriabal celebration of dance, song, drums, regalia, art and food. Criminalized in Canada in 1876, under the 'Indian Act', Pow Wows have become anticolonial acts of resistance.

After a 17 year hiatus, the Ryerson Pow Wow returned to campus in 2018. This annual event, beginning with a Sunrise Ceremony and ending with a community feast, honours our spiritual connection to one another and to Mother Earth.

Everyone is always welcome
